She has worked as an International Examiner for CIDESCO for over 30 years. (The world’s highest qualification in Beauty Therapy and the Spa Industry.) She has examined globally in over 20 countries. Nicola has been the area rep for the Queenstown and Lakes District for the New Zealand Beauty Therapy association for Registered Beauty Therapists for many years and is actively involved in the evolution of the industry worldwide, as well as within New Zealand.
Nicola taught Beauty Therapy in the late 80's at Joyce Blok in Auckland, then moved to Europe where she continued to study and work within institutions of excellence, continually building on her skills and as a result is highly qualified at what she does.
Nicola is also a fully qualified Massage Therapist and her true passion is massage. She has studied and perfected many types of massage from around the world including , Sports and Deep tissue in Switzerland, Lomi Lomi in Maui, Hawaii. Thai Yoga massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Ayurveda in Cochin, India.
Nicola's love for the industry , means she has continued to evolve and grow learning many other therapies, such as Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Lymph Drainage, Reiki, and is now a fully qualified Herbalist, after studying with the world renowned Isla Burges at the International College of Herbal Medicine. So there is plenty of knowledge and experience to share.

Nicola's true passion is massage. She has studied and perfected her massage from around the world. Deep tissue & sports massage, Lomi lomi , Maui, Hawaii. Thai yoga massage, Chang Mai Thailand. Ayuverda, Cochin, India. As well as Beauty therapy. She is an international examiner for CIDESCO Switzerland. And is highly respected within her industry world wide. She also studied Lymph drainage , Reflexolgy, aromatherapy & Reiki. Is a qualified Herbalist. All this knowledge and 40 years experience, is there to be shared. Nicola has cut back due to Hasimotos ( auto immune disease attacking the thyroid.) and has taken on a more managerial role. Training staff to the standard she expects. Running bookings and taking calls. But if you were on of her regular clients, please feel free to contact her for treatments. As she is still massaging part time. Her days are Sunday and Monday. But happy to adapt when those days don’t suit.

Senior Massage Therapist / Spa Manager
Laura has over 13 years experience as a massage /spa therapist. Her speciality is deep tissue with a Taiwanese, shiatsu influence. Loves pregnancy massage and also does Hot stone and Reflexology. Laura is originally from Taiwan and speaks Mandarin and English. Her gentle caring nature and strong hands makes her a perfect fit for the Massage in Wanaka team. She works Tuesday to Saturday.
Maree Hopley

After a career in the Fitness Industry in Australia spanning more than 20 years helping people achieve their general fitness goals I took a turn to the rehabilitation side of the industry encompassing recovery from surgery and specific water based therapy for sport and injury recovery.
Often asking people to have some form of physical therapy to release both fascia and muscle tension before they came to me for their programs. I then realised it would be an advantage to upskill to do this myself. In 2000 I completed a Diploma in Remedial Therapy with the School of Natural Therapies in Sydney. From then my future in the Allied Health had morphed.
Since 2000 I have had the privilege to work with some amazing Professional sports. Including Swimming, Cycling and Netball in Australia, and Rugby Union in Samoa,
Wanaka is where our family home is - so It is wonderful to be back after completing my last contract with the Professional Netball team - Sunshine Coast Lightning.Queensland Australia.
I specialise in all forms of Sports and Remedial Therapy. I have the Nickname of (POP) Princess of pain, but my treatments can be tailored to individual requirements with all forms of pressure catered for.

Qualified spa/ massage therapist with over 10 years of experience in spas and clinics, specialised in lymphatic drainage, sports massage, deep tissue to relaxing massage. And facials.
Originally from Brazil, but now living in New Zealand for the past 5 years.
She is a lover nature and the outdoors. So you can see why she loves New Zealand. And is passionate about well-being.

I believe massages is a matter of self love, taking a time to look after yourself and distress from the daily routine.”
